Album: I'm Alive Album by Sha Sha

South African (Zimbabwean) vocalist, Sha Sha finally arrived with a brand new album called "I'm Alive".

Infusing amapiano with soul, pop, and Afrobeats influences, Zimbabwean-South African singer-songwriter Sha Sha has become a driving force behind amapiano’s global reach—evidenced by her numerous collaborations with artists ranging from Samthing Soweto, DJ Maphorisa, and Kabza De Small to MFR Souls, Kamo Mphela and Mas Musiq, and culminating in her own 2020 BET award win for Best New International Act. On her debut LP, [i]I’m Alive[/i], the artist born Charmaine Shamiso Mapimbiro flexes her versatility as she takes a therapeutic journey of finding herself, delineating what’s most important to her, and letting go of those things that aren’t. A similarly diverse group of artists from the guest list here, with assistance from the likes of Rowlene (“Give Me Something”) Ami Faku (“Themba Lami”) and Blxckie (“Take Me There”), while Sha Sha channels Sade, one of her biggest influences, on “Trying”.
