The video, which showcased Seyi Tinubu’s circle of close friends, mentors, and associates, drew massive attention online as fans quickly pointed out the exclusion of Lege Miami, who is widely known for his loyalty and open support for the Tinubu family.

Addressing the matter in a heartfelt video shared via his Instagram page, Lege Miami explained the reason behind his absence, attributing it to his limited command of the English language.

He revealed that while he had been invited to record a tribute message, his part was later removed from the final cut. According to him, “The reason I was removed from the video is that I could not speak English. They added people who are rich and outspoken.”

The actor, known for his comic matchmaking content and outspoken personality, took full responsibility, saying: “It’s my fault, I’m the cause of it. If I were fluent in English, I would have been added to the clip. They brought a camera to my house, and I wished him happy birthday, but they removed me. Don’t blame Seyi, it’s my fault. Seyi is a good friend.”

Lege Miami urges fans to stop blaming Seyi Tinubu

Lege Miami further appealed to his fans to stop dragging Seyi Tinubu online, insisting that the president’s son had no ill intentions. He maintained that Seyi has always shown him kindness and respect.

“Please, nobody should insult Seyi. He’s a good man. It’s not his fault, and he’s my friend for life,” Lege Miami said with humility and calmness, clarifying that there was no bad blood between them.

Despite being left out of the video, the actor expressed continued admiration and loyalty towards Seyi Tinubu, describing him as a great leader and someone he holds in high esteem.

Lege’s reaction drew a wave of mixed reactions online — while many fans sympathized with him, others mocked his admission, saying he was sidelined because the tribute focused on elites and politically connected figures.

Some netizens, however, commended Lege for his maturity in handling the issue without resentment, praising his honesty and humility in acknowledging his flaws publicly.

Fans react to Lege’s calm response

Following his explanation, social media was flooded with reactions. One user wrote, “Lege Miami just proved he’s a real man. No hate, no drama — just truth.”

Another commented, “They didn’t add him because he’s not one of their polished friends, but he still shows love. That’s loyalty.”

Others noted that his humorous and unfiltered communication style might have made the clip less formal, hence his exclusion.

Nevertheless, the incident has once again highlighted Lege Miami’s growing influence on social media and his close association with influential figures in Nigeria’s entertainment and political circles.

Even in disappointment, his loyalty to the Tinubu family remains unwavering, earning him praise as a man who values friendship beyond fame and validation.
