Senator Ned Nwoko has finally broken his silence regarding the ongoing marital crisis involving his actress wife, Regina Daniels, addressing the rumors of domestic violence that recently flooded social media. The businessman and politician revealed shocking details about what he described as Regina’s long battle with addiction and emotional instability, which he claims have become the major source of their marital troubles.
In a detailed statement shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Nwoko narrated a disturbing series of events that reportedly took place over the last 48 hours. He alleged that while he was away, Regina went on what he called an “unprovoked rampage,” attacking his domestic staff, breaking valuable items, and damaging property, including cars and windows within their home.

According to Nwoko, Regina’s erratic behavior stems from her ongoing struggle with substance abuse. He claimed she has been battling dependency on drugs and alcohol, describing it as the “root of their problem.” The senator explained that he had made several attempts to help her by arranging professional rehabilitation programs, both within Nigeria and abroad.
He disclosed that one of the proposed options was for Regina to receive treatment at a top rehabilitation center in Asokoro, Abuja. Alternatively, he suggested a facility in Jordan, where medical supervision would be strict and her access to drugs and harmful substances would be completely cut off. However, he lamented that Regina reportedly rejected these options and became aggressive toward anyone who tried to intervene in her condition.

Nwoko further alleged that Regina had even gone as far as threatening a nurse who had exposed her substance abuse habits, forcing him to take extra precautions around their residence. He expressed deep concern for her safety, saying he fears that without proper medical rehabilitation, her health and life could be in serious danger.
The politician went on to name individuals whom he believes are directly involved in enabling Regina’s addiction, specifically pointing fingers at her brother, Sammy, whom he accused of being her primary supplier of drugs, and another acquaintance identified only as Ann. He described their actions as destructive and appealed for public understanding regarding his decision to speak out, insisting his intention is not to defame Regina but to ensure her well-being.
In his post, Nwoko emphasized that he has never raised his hands against any of his wives and that none of them have ever accused him of domestic violence. He claimed that this ongoing turmoil is unique to Regina’s behavior and is tied to her alleged struggle with substance use, not any physical or emotional abuse from his side.
“Regina was not always like this,” he wrote. “Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
His statement has since generated a storm of reactions across social media, with fans and observers divided over who to believe. While some sympathized with the senator’s account, others argued that both parties should seek private resolution and avoid public confrontations that could worsen the matter. The controversy continues to dominate discussions, with many awaiting Regina Daniels’ official response.
